Has anyone else found this and is there a workaround? I've included an 'extreme' example (straight Oly Workspace example first following by the DXO Photolab export) where I have pushed the processing too far but it shows the problem well. This information applies to version (s): 2, 3 DeepPRIME & DeepPRIME XD hardware acceleration: With DeepPRIME, DxO makes a giant leap forward in digital noise reduction: this is the most advanced denoising technology available on the market today. I find that it doesn't occur in P元 if the processing is applied to the RAW file.

I then take the images back into Lr to finish processing but, I also still like to put the TIFF exports through PhotoLab as I find some of its tools really good (denoise, smart lighting, micro contrast and clear view plus) however, I came acorss a really annoying problem with the software over the last couple of days where it adds banding/posterization to the exported Oly Workspace TIFFs when you apply smart lighting (clear view plus then exacerbates the issue).

I was getting disapointed with Lr 5 RAW processing and didn't want to go the subscription model approach so switched to PhotoLab 3 about a year or so ago as it was better at RAW processing but now I also use Olympus Workspace more and more as I find it converts the original Olympus RAW files the best in some cases. My image processing these days is getting complicated.
